Help...? Teething? Frozen cloth?
My daughter is teething and unfortunately she is only 14wks old... so she can't hold anything herself so I have to do things for her. All the teething toys are too big for her mouth even if I can hold them there for her. I let her chew my finger, or on a newborn "soothie", a gum brush we got in a first aid kit, and a finger gum brush that's softer than the other on (but it's still big in her mouth becuase she is young and just because she is a baby with a small mouth). So are there any other ideas? Maybe non-conventional ideas?
I also freeze the corners of a washcloth and let her gnaw on those, but my question is: Did your baby just kind of suck the water out??? I'm sure the cold feels good, but I think she thinks the water is a treat or food too...??? And she seems to need them all the time. Can the tooth be coming soon? She's been showing signs of teething for 3-4 wks. Is this too much water for her? There really isn't much on there but I guess it might add up..........
My son when he was little, he would suck the cloth, and get the water out and he's ok. I don't think there is a problem with it.
