What can I put in a Native American Medicine Pouch/?
I have to make a medicine pouch for school. We have to chose a Plains tribe. I chose the Sioux tribe. I made the pouch, but I don't know what I should put in it.
I need to put a spiritual, nature, tribe/family characteristics, and person characteristic items in the pouch
is it common practice in your school to mock all religions and beliefs or just natives? tell your teacher they are being pretty insulting asking you to do this. a medicine pouch is personal. ask your teacher if she would also have the class bring in pretend communion like the catholics have or maybe some other mocking way to belittle another peoples spirituality.
