how do you ease the pain of loosing a pet?
My little pekingnees was 9 months old he got out of the house and ran down the street: he was vary fast to be little. He came upon a dog tied in the front yard the dog was inches from the road and my pup went up to it I didn't have time to get him before he grabed oreo that was his name and he was slinging him around I screamed 10 to 15 times before the owner came out and got his dog so I could get my pup. He died 6 hours ago. I can't get the image out of my head is there any help that can calm me down anything is better than what I'm going though right know
Oh my God! What an awful experience for you love - i'm so very, very sorry for your loss x I can't tell you to remember the good times because in this instance it doesn't work like that does it? You saw it and it makes the whole experience so much worse. I know, right now, you're blaming yourself but listen to me my friend - there wasn't anything you could have done - if you'd tried you'd have been injured or - at worse - killed. Please don't think that this is your fault - its not! You are going to need counselling to get through this my friend - an act on this severity level needs proffesional help, please seek it and adhere to it or it'll ruin your life. I'm still helping my friend who's dog was killed in front of his eye's and will probably continue to do so for the rest of his life - - its destroyed him! His dog was also killed by other dogs and he needs counselling every fortnight! Bless you, this is so very, very tragic - take care of yourself love x
