How long before the NUK baby bottles and nipples are no longer good to use?
I'm a first-time mother, and I was wondering when I should buy new NUK baby bottles and nipples. How do I know if it's no longer good? If anyone has any idea, please let me know. It's already been a month that we've been using the same NUK bottles and nipples. Thanks!

How do I know if its worn or not?

If you are using the glass bottles then they never need replacing. the teats last about 7 or so months before they need to change, but that's in line with needing to move to a different flow rate for the bub as they get faster at drinking. talk to a pharmacy assistant about flow rates etc to get a really good info dump.
the plastic bottles should be replaced after about 9 months or else the plastic will start to deteriorate.
the big thing with bottles and teats is to boil them, to steralise them before you use them. washing in warm soapy water and rinsing will get most of the bugs but not all. boiling for 3-4 mins will kill off everything. Some people argue that you should not boil them "so they can be exposed to more germs and get a better immune system" but it's a false argument. the sorts of bacteria that can live in an improperly cleaned bottle can actually be fatal.
Another tip is to leave the lid a little bit lose so that a little air can enter while they are feeding and help equalise the pressure in the bottle. how much? the best way is for you yourself to try and suck water out of the bottle. try it with the lid on tight then with it a little looser. it shouldn't flow fast, but it should flow easy. less hard sucking means less belly bubbles and stomach pains for the bub.
