Please help!!! Can i lactate?

I've already posted but no one seems to be helping
My boyfriend and I have been interested in adult nursing so we've been trying everything to make it happen, I massage them myself, he sucks on them whenever possible and I have recently invested in a breast pump, its only manual so I don't know if that even makes a difference at all. I recently read an article that said estrogen was a lactation suppresant and I am on birth control (Desogen). So is that the reason its not working? Could it work if I stopped the birth control? Maybe in between packs when I'm on a period? We've been trying for about a month now, maybe longer. I can get a clear discharge out with all methods, the pump, the boyfriend, me massaging...Can someone help us?

No you can't lactate since you are on Desogen. If you say you've been doing it for a month or a little over, then haven't you tried it when you where on your period already? If not then sure, go ahead and try it. I'm sure you have to be completey off of the pill though. But be careful! You wouldn't want to get pregnant when you weren't planning!
