Help for my poor gassy baby?
I have a very very gassy baby. He usually sleeps ok if he's sleeping with me but he wakes up from being gassy if he is by himself. I have tried the Dr. Brown's bottles, the Nux, the Playtex drop-ins and vent aires and none of them seem to help a whole lot with the gas problems. Also i have used Enfamil Milk Lipil and Gentlease and AR and Prosobee and he wasn't happy on any of them. So i switched over the Similac and used the Advanced early shield and the lactofree one and Isomil. I have noticed that he is alot more unhappy when he is on any kind of milk based formula and will scream and spit up really bad. He doesn't scream or spit up as much with soy but becomes constipated and gassy on soy. I haven't tried the Nestle yet any would like opinions on that kind versus the others. If you have any ideas on how to help besides the Mylicon and Gripe Water, which i have already tried i would appriecate it.
My son screamed with gas pains the first 2 months of his life, it was heartbreaking, My Grandfather went to the local pharmacy and brought back a bottle of liquid catnip and fennel. Several drops on my sons tongue, he farted like a little balloon leaking air..lol Happy baby.... happy Mommy...good luck
