which Good start Formula is better?
im going to start off breast feeding but if i have to start formula im going to be getting the good start formula but i dont know which one is better,
the Good Start Gentle Plus or
the Good Start Protect Plus, does anyone know which one is better?
I know you said that you wanted to try the good start ones but I tasted a couple of formulas including good start protect plus. The good start was very nasty tasting, it had a very strong iron taste so it kind of tasted like I was eating pennies and I also gave it to my baby to try and she didn't like it at all plus it made her breath smell bad, same with similac advanced. I did alot of sampling when I was looking for the right formula for my baby and all of the powdered formulas were very nasty tasting. The one me and my baby liked the best was Enfamil Premium Lipil the ready to use kind, not the powder. It kind of tasted like chocolate milk. I guess I would feel kind of bad trying to force my baby to drink something that I can't even stomach. I don't know why the powder and ready to use formulas are so different but they just are. If you really want to give your baby the good start then maybe give them the ready to use kind because it seems like they aren't that strong tasting. I think that babies who are breastfed have more trouble drinking strong tasting formulas because our breast milk doesn't have any taste at all. Believe me, I've tried that too. I guess I'm just a curious person.
