Can i give a 2 week old baby number 2 medium flow teats for the Dr Brown bottles?
My 2 week old falls asleep during feeding and has really bad trapped wind, he also has a huge sucking blister, i was told by my midwife to try medium flow teats, hoping he would get the feed quidcker and easier, but 2 weeks seems to young to me, has anyone else been told this or does anyone know if its dangerous.
Not a good idea. Chances are he will choke on the fluid coming out faster. My daughter didn't move to the stage 2 nipples until she was around 5 months old!
I think it's rather odd that a midwife told you to try this when she should know that it comes out WAY too fast for a 2 wk old.
