I plan on pumping once I return to work. With my first pregnancy, I had a battery operated breastpump from Target that cost like $30 dollars, it was no good! I thought that it was just using a pump in general, but it would just take like 30 min. to get 3 ounces. I didn't realize then that they had expensive electric pumps. Are these worth it? I would be willing to invest around $100-2 for a good pump if it is, as I will be needing this when I return to work. Thanks!
About how long does it take to get a 8 oz or so?
You pay for what you get. With my third child, I rented one from Public Health and it was awesome. It was an electric one and it was good at helping my milk let down and was able to get alot of ounces at a time.
The battery operted ones are good for the reason that they are portable and smaller. However, I ended up buying one and it was electric but also battery operated. It was pretty good but the one I rented was much better.
