What can i use to personalize things? gift items to be exact?
i'm going to be an aunt pretty soon, and the baby shower is comming up, i wanted to buy her a basket full of necesssary items (bibs, bottles, cloths, etc...) but i want them personalized with the baby's name (very unique gift huh) but is there some sort of machine, tool, or anything i can use to personalize my own things? (cloths, bottles etc...) instead of buying an aready fixed up basket? please let me know and THANKS IN ADVANCED
You can get a label maker. You can get plastic labels, paper labels, fabric iron on labels. Some of the label makers have personalized styles of labels. Hope this helps. Of course, add something you have hand made in the basket with definitely personalize the gift. Making a soft fabric toy, make of one piece of fabric for the front, embroider eyes or whatever, one piece same size and shape for the back, sew together leaving small gap to stuff with baby safe filling, sew up hole neatly and you have a soft toy soft and safe for baby to drool over and wash when needed. Embroider babies name on it and its their's forever. Also, make a simple fabric padded picture frame with baby's name and birthdate on it.
Another way to name items like bottles, would be to buy stickers from scrapbookers supplies and asking manufacturers, or storekeepers, how to make the stickers stay on as long as possible with use. Perhaps you can find transfers that you can use, cut letters out of a colored transfer and transfet according to instructions.
