how other moms' daily schedule of 3 1/2 mnths baby boy, on formula, not much napping, still needs night feeds
baby also very prone to diaper rash, not rolling over yet, currently drolls much as he is putting his hands in his mouth all the time. don't have any family to help around since day one coming from hospital. Just wonder if there is things I could do better so that baby and I won't be too stressful and can get things around the house done in a more better way.
Yes, throw out the idea of a schedule all together. You will thank yourself!
I also have a 3 1/2 month old who is formula fed. We started out thinking that we needed to schedule all of his sleeping and eating, but found that we are all much happier now that we parent on demand. Feed him when he is hungry, let him sleep when he is tired. Co-sleep at night, he will sleep better next to you. Buy a sling or front carrier and he will sleep during the day and you will be able to get more done around the house.
Edit: I second the Triple Paste. Change his diaper often and allow his bum to air dry (wash cloth over the wee-wee to prevent firehose accidents). Spread a thin layer on with each changing, especially over night. If it is really bad your baby's doctor can prescribe something more powerful.
My little one also drools a lot. Its the early stages of teething. If he is really uncomfortable you can give him a little baby orajel, or a pacifer that has been in the fridge. And don't stress about the rolling over. Mine has apparently done it twice at daycare but never for me. Yours will soon enough.
