powder or ready to feed?
which is better? my 51/2 month old has had feeding problems, such as milk formula allergies and reflux. he's been on powder alimentum since 8 weeks old, but now he is getting bad gas/stomach aches after a bottle....and waking up screaming, i've heard ready to feed is a little easier on their tummy's. is that true?
Did I ask a damn question about breast feeding? Nope didn't think so, so keep your opinion to yourself.....anyway he is also allergic to soy formula, already tried it, and have the gas drops, they do help
First of all, don't use soy. We were not intended to consume soy protein in those quantities. Soy is packed full of estrogen like properties and there are known risks in feeding a baby soy formula. Do your research on that.
Anyhow, it didn't matter whether we fed our son powder or ready-made, he VOMITS and screams like crazy. He's on 2 different medications and prescription gas drops (better than mylicon) and he still has some really bad days. He's 3 mo old btw. I would try giving him gas drops before you feed him and maybe that will help keep him settled.
